A.P.I.C.E.
International Symposium on Critical Care Medicine consists of Seminars,
Workshops, Comprehensive Courses, Round Tables, Invited Lectures and
Meetings with Experts, being held each year in November in Trieste,
Italy.
Since its first edition in 1986, the Symposium has
grown in importance and today, at its 22nd edition, it is one of the
most important European meetings in the field of critical care medicine,
thanks to a successful formula which combines an interactive didactic
method with the high scientific relevance of the topics discussed and
the presence of keynote speakers.
A large number of participants and the support of a
number of institutions, which annually grant their patronage to the
Symposium, testify its brilliant outcome.
With its Scientific Exhibition, the Symposium is an
excellent window for the latest advances in the pharmaceutical and medical
industry.
A.P.I.C.E. International Symposium offers the ideal
framework for planning cooperation activities at national and international
level, such as for example the Interactive Virtual School, a programme
of international exchanges in the field of critical care.
Furthermore, in 2002, 2003 and 2004 the Symposium was
organized in conjunction with the World Federation of Societies of Intensive
and Critical Care Medicine, that held on that occasion the annual meetings
of its Board, which greatly increases the value of APICE activities.
